We add a state only after two things are checked against official documents: the cost-of-care figures for that state, and that state's own Medicaid rules. Everything else stays marked as unverified, in public.

Why so few states
Home care is regulated state by state: hourly rates differ, Medicaid income and asset limits differ, and the waiver that pays for care at home has a different name in almost every state. Two states a family can rely on are worth more than fifty templates repeating one national average.
Not on this list
The state Medicaid agency and your Area Agency on Aging are the authority, not us. We are an independent information site: not a government agency, not a healthcare provider, and not a licensed referral agency.
