Privacy policy

This policy covers the two forms on this site: the estimate email on the cost calculator, and the corrections form on the about page. We are not lawyers; if the site ever adds referral or advertising relationships, this page and the consent wording will be revised before that happens, not after.

What we collect

Standard server logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) kept for security and abuse prevention.
If you send the estimate form: your email address, the state, care type and hours you entered, and the estimate we calculated for you.
If you send a correction: your message and, only if you provide it, your email address.
The forms are built for ranges, not identities. Do not send medical records, Social Security numbers, insurance IDs or account numbers — we do not want them and we delete them.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you and to keep the figures on this site accurate. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with care providers, agencies or advertisers. We do not currently run a mailing list; if we start one, every message will carry a working unsubscribe.

How long we keep it

Kept only while needed to answer you or to support a correction, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your address at any time — reply “stop” or “delete” to any message from us.

Your choices

Both calculators work without submitting anything.
You can ask what we hold about you, and ask for a copy or for deletion.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookie-less, privacy-first measurement. It records aggregate page views and visits; it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not follow you across other websites. We set no advertising cookies and run no ad network. Because this site is served through Cloudflare, the measurement script is added by Cloudflare itself when a page is delivered — not by code we inject into the page.

Children

This site is for adults arranging care. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We are an independent informational and tools site. We are not a government agency, not a healthcare provider, and not a licensed referral agency under California CCR Title 22 or Florida Stat. 429.195. We do not place people into facilities and we do not charge families. Nothing here is legal, medical or financial advice — always confirm current rules with the state agency or a licensed professional.
