Sourcing rule
Every figure on this site must trace to an official source: a state Medicaid or health agency, a federal agency, or a published cost-of-care survey with a stated methodology.
Review dates
Each figure carries the date we last verified it. Medicaid thresholds change annually, so pages are re-checked on a schedule rather than left to age.
What we refuse to do
- Publish a number we cannot source.
- Estimate a state's rules by copying another state.
- Present a screening result as an official determination.
- Let payment influence which providers or services appear.
Who maintains this site
Home Care Math editorial desk. No clinical reviewer has been retained yet, so we publish sourced figures and official rules and never clinical guidance or medical advice. If that changes, the reviewer's name and credentials will appear here and on the pages they review.
Review schedule
Medicaid thresholds, waiver names and survey rates change. Figures are re-checked at least annually and before any page is used in new content; the date at the top of each page is the last time it happened.
Corrections
If you find an error, we want it. Corrections are made to the page and reflected in the review date — report one from the about page.
