Data usage and licence
Short version: cite the figures freely, link back to us, and note that the underlying survey belongs to CareScout.
What you may do
- Quote, cite or republish the cost figures from our 50-state tables in articles, reports, teaching material or resource lists.
- Link to any page on this site.
- Use the figures commercially, provided you attribute them.
What we ask
- Attribution: credit “Home Care Math” and link to the page you took the figure from.
- Accuracy: quote the figure with its unit and the survey it came from. The published figure is a median, not a quote for one family.
- Currency: state the review date shown on the page, because figures are re-checked and can change.
What is not ours to license
The underlying numbers come from the CareScout Cost of Care Survey 2025, published as ranked state tables. That survey is CareScout’s work. Our licence covers the presentation, compilation and explanation on this site — not the survey itself. If you want to redistribute the raw survey, check CareScout’s own terms.

No warranty
Figures are published as-is for general information. They are not a quote, not financial advice, and not an official determination of anything. Verify with the source before you rely on a number for a decision.
Corrections
If a figure here disagrees with the survey PDF, the PDF is right and we will fix the page. Use the corrections form on the about page.
